Farewell Little Bear. During your long years of service in defense of Rancho-not-so-Grande and your retirement in St. Regis, you were an exemplar of what a cat should be, and you brought much joy to your human family. We will miss you as you depart to join your old friend Blitzen and all the others of your kind that have gone before.

• The mechanism that holds one of the console storage compartments closed.  It could easily be pulled in and out of position, which I frequently did when bored.  This did not combine well with the unwise decision to listen to weekend night "progressive" talk radio (the absolute craziest, least rational time) in order to "hear what the other side thinks".  (If the show was any indication, they apparently don't).
• During work today, I discovered that a hole had developed in my most comfortable pair of work pants.  It was probably a good thing I wore black underwear today.
• Also while working today, I started my car and noticed that my car key was bent at a strange angle in the ignition.  While it still works, I now have to be careful every time I start the car, or else the housing for the keyless entry system will fall apart, which with my luck would probably lead to the car not starting again.  I think I may need to pay a visit to the car dealership in the next few days...

• I was watching Season 3 of Doctor Who and realized that the storyline with Harold Saxon was similar to recent events in modern politics.  I quickly checked YouTube and found a video that shared this thought (Apparently Rule 34 applies to every concept, not just pornography)
